What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Gather details and learn the scope of the project. Present client with options and use previous experience when making critical decisions and recommendations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are licensed general contractor with almost 30 years of on the job experience.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been around tradesmen growing up. I love building things and working with my hands. So I’m 1991 it seemed the perfect choice.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Everyone from my grandma to large commercial companies.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We did a fantastic weekend party room/ home pub design with a beautiful custom built bar with coolers, tap system, sports and movie theater with surrounding TVs and audio light system. This was a staged project that was completed over about a two week time frame.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be sure to know the quality of materials being used. Compare apples to apples. Ask questions – Who? What? Where? until your satisfied. There are the price chasing contractors who cut corners to save costs which down the road will surface when it’s to late.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What the project entails, timeline to start and if completion date needed. Knowing a budget often helps in creating the perfect project within financial needs.
